Fashion in the 1980s!
In the 1980s, fashion was changing so fast that New Romantic music and fashion exerted a strong influence over the clothing worn by both males and females in the years of the decade. Many designers favoured natural materials, including silk, wool, cotton and linen. Mandonna crooned ‘Like A Virgin’ in her lacy tops and fishnet stockings worn short skirts were very popular with the women in the 80s. Here is a list of what people definitely wore in the 80s:

- Heavy Mascara
- Stonewashed Jeans
- Legwarmers
- Leather Jackets
- Mini Skits
- Hoop Earrings
- Fingerless Gloves
Rock Bank shirts, chains on leather and sleeveless shirt are some of the clothing that men wore in the 1980s.
